Job Opportunity: Promotion and Engagement Coordinator

Culturapedia is looking for a Promotion and Engagement Coordinator to assist us with our core projects.

The Promotion and Engagement Coordinator is a full time post (35 hours per week) to December 2012. There is some flexibility of hours with regards to start and finish times within the normal working week.

Salary: £13,000 pa


The role of the Promotion and Engagement Coordinator: to manage the flow of information in and out of Culturapedia with primary responsibility for promoting and actively seeking opportunities for somewhereto_ NW in respect of young people’s engagement. Assisting the team in securing somewhereto_ spaces for 16-25 year olds to do the sporting, creative and cultural things they love doing. To coordinate promotional materials for Spot On Rural Touring and clients/promoters. To create and manage e-bulletins and communications for Culturapedia and its core projects.

About You

You will have experience and be able to demonstrate an understanding of social media, e-bulletins, marketing and communications. Attention to detail will be a core attribute along with a strong creative writing flair.

You will have a high standard of computer skills and be able to demonstrate exceptional literacy and numeracy.

You will have an interest in the arts and young people within the North West, an awareness of the geography or a willingness to learn about the geography of the North West would be an advantage.

You will be confident in your ability to make deadlines and work to them as part of a team and independently.

You will be keen to work as part of a small team with a national and regional focus, be able to think laterally, calmly and rationally when working to multiple deadlines.

You will be a confident public speaker as well as being able to communicate appropriately at various levels of audience, this includes having a confident telephone manner.

You will be willing to participate in the work of the company with enthusiasm and a ‘can do’ attitude.
