Official London 2012 Festival callout to the North West for fresh talent

Young talent wanted! Become stars of the stage at Project Triangle – the official festival of London 2012

An invasion of inspiration will be hitting the historic and iconic Burnley Weavers Triangle, Sandygate Square, Burnley, on the 21 July with somewhereto_’s exclusive event Project Triangle.

somewhereto_, a Legacy Trust UK project in media association with Channel 4 Education and the Olympic and Paralympic Games, _ is now scouring the North West for fresh faced talent, with new music and ideas, to star at the event and want to hear from you.

somewhereto_ has being causing a revolution across the UK by helping young people, aged 16 – 25, find spaces and places to do the things they love within arts, culture and sport.

For one day only somewhereto_ will be delivering a spectacular free event showcasing the creative flair of young people from the North West with a day packed with performances, workshops and film screenings.

somewhereto_ are calling out for any 16 – 25 year olds with the confidence and the skills to perform in front of a live audience at this exciting event. The organisation are interested in hearing from ambitious rappers, singers, dancers or any young person whose hidden talent deserves to be on stage.

The organisation also wants to hear from inspiring and upcoming young film makers and directors who want to premiere their short films – no longer than ten minutes – at The Neptune Pub, a space that will be transformed into a somewhereto_ cinema.

somewhereto_ are very interested in hearing from any creative organisation who would like a presence at the event or who are keen to run a workshop for young performers and attendees.
