Formal and informal mentoring and support for a diverse range of freelancers and companies on creating, presenting and marketing work for non-traditional venues. To achieve this, we work with a consortium of northern partners.
We always provide informal advice and support to professional artists who want to chat through ideas or seek advice. Feel free to get in touch for a chat. Our current formalised mentoring programme is HANDS. We support the development of a greater range of high-quality performances for the rural and library touring sector through a responsive mentoring programme working with eight diverse small-scale touring companies. A strategic partnership delivers the project of four rural touring schemes across the north of England. It aims to support freelance artists, increase employability and build resilience. It supports the development of new work for community venues and libraries, particularly in isolated rural areas.
